they won't see us waving from Such Great Heights, everything looks perfect from far away.
Well I feel bad now that I accused all of you of being lazy slackers who don't update enough because now I can help move us along and I still don't update. I've been pretty busy with tennis and school and personal life and just haven't gotten around to updating. So here it is, my month or so.
Listen:
I read a lot these past few bits here. Lots of Vonnegut (Breakfast of Champions, Slaughterhouse V) and more dystopias (1984, Brave New World, A Clockwork Orange (which I just started)) and some King (still working on Needful Things.) I also have played 8 tennis matches which takes a long time. (I've won a whopping two of them, both against IPS teams. not good) I have also learned some Calculus, done some homework and just did normal Matthew stuff. I also broke up with Michelle and used too many parentheses.
...Oh, you want to know more about that last bit there? Not the part about the parentheses? oh, ok.
Well she went to college, duh! What else was supposed to happen? I had expected it but it still doesn't make it hurt less. I miss her but I think it was for the best. She sounded kind of distant and like she needed some conceptual space along with the actual space she just got. She needs to grow some right now and doesn't need me bogging her down with my high school lifestyle.
I also got my driver's liscence, yay! I'm driving to school almost everyday which is helping with the convenience but not with the gas bill. ouch 3 bucks a gallon. Luckily, since I'm going to school, the parents are paying for it. We hooked Andrew up to the internet in his room so, we see even less of him now. I also am still waiting for the stillborn King Lear thing to come back to life. I'm hoping since I have a liscence that I can get up there to see some of you guys soon. Good talking at you guys, hopefully the next wait won't be so long.
So they were trying to reinvent themselves and their universe. Science fiction was a big help.
